A serious lack in the book industry is that of good Christian literature available to the educated Chinese.
Famous English books that we love and take for granted are not readily available in Mandarin, especially in Simplified Chinese text. Why are Chinese Christians being deprived of such fantastic materials? I have a desire for many Chinese to be blessed by them. Revival is happening in Southeast Asia. There are more than 100 millions believers in China alone. There is an increasing demand for Christian materials.
Of course, we cannot ignore the fact that Christianity had its history in Europe and America (since they were the ones who first embraced the new belief system). Thus, there is a huge reservoir of Christian resources there. In these books lie precious gold and silver nuggets mined from the Word of God, treasures that forefathers like Rees Howells and Smith Wigglesworth discovered and left behind for us all. But until recently, they were unavailable to the millions of Chinese who would have benefited from them.
We believe the fastest way for the Chinese Christians to be blessed by these materials is by having them translated into their own language.
